CleanCo’s mission is to deliver clean, renewable and low-emission energy solutions to help their customers thrive in a net zero future. CleanCo is advancing Queensland’s energy transformation, playing a lead role in delivering on the Queensland Government’s ambition for 70% renewable energy by 2032.

The key focus of the role was to drive the HR agenda to support a series of mergers and acquisitions that enabled the Yancoal Group to grow from a company operating one coal mine employing 300 people to a company operating 10 coal mines employing some 3,000 people over a three year period. This work was performed in a complex, dynamic environment which involved working closely with several Chinese State-owned entities.
